2. No posts with links or written urls to sites where photographs of gymnastics are sold or auctioned. The site owner graciously pays for this site. And the sales of his gymnastics photos help contribute to that payment.
3. Keep posts topical to gymnastics. This is a general rule, and usually only called upon when someone continues to make posts that are not topical. If you feel the need to make an off-topic post, DO NOT! As above, there are not many reasons for an off-topic post other than mentioned below.
4. The only Off-Topic posts that will be tolerated are marked with OT and have content as follows: Wishing another person who posts here good will for something Birthdays, Anniversaries, Congratulations, etc. Or any current events that directly affects the sport of gymnastics. If you have any questions or inquiries about what is exceptable and non-exceptable post please e-mail me at scott@gymn.com.
5. Do not inquiry about poster personal information. Which includes..who they are or where they live, e-mail addresses etc.. If they want you to have their e-mail address they will post it in their message.
6.Do not posts that may invoke a fight. Discussion yes, fights no.
7. No personal attacks against subjects people post or posters themselves. If you don't like a person, gymnast or coach (or situation) it's fine, and it's ok to express your dislike for them (or it). But, do it in a civilized manner.
8. No name calling or profanity. Keep it clean or don't post it. Because it will be removed.
9 No plugging or advertising of websites I don't mind the post to visit another website but when the posts are designed to undermine or "out do" what is done on this sight then there is a problem. Moreover, the constant plugging of the same site is not allowed.
10. Do not e-mail me about personal issues. Tape Trades gone bad, inquires on posters identity. Only e-mails pretaining to the board or the chat room will be answered. Any hatemail will just be deleted. Do not expect a response back. Bring any and all question, comments, and inquiries civil or not at all.
11. Please only post your inquiries and questions once. Someone will answer if they are able. If your post doesn't get a response then take it as the posters just don't know.
12. No getting upset if someone answers your post which was directed to a different person. If you post it, it is for all to reply to. If you want a private and exclusive answer, use email or chat. This forum is open to all members and they can reply if they please.
13. Please think before you post. One never knows who may be reading. If you don't care who's reading, this board is not for you. Before you post remember that the person you may be posting about could be reading. You'd be shocked just who reads this board. Think about how you would like to be talked about, and try to apply that to your post. Yes there will be criticism and favorites, but it can be done with respect.
14. No posts in language other than English I'm not against other languages, it's just that not everyone speaks them. We use our base language as English and any other language used means that all should be used, and there is not enough room for that on the board.
15. Posts regarding the way the board was run before will be removed and any posts realted to it. We are starting fresh and new. Its a new day and a new breath. I will not tolerate any Negativity.
Failure to follow the rules will result in your posts being removed. If you see your post has been removed, take it as advisement that it was not within the guidelines of the rules. Further posts of that nature may result in banishment.
